What is Discover?

Discover showcases profiles we have selected for you each day based on a range of criteria including your age, preference and location.

- If you click Yes on a profile, they’ll be added to your Likes.
- If anyone sees you on Discover and clicks Yes, you’ll see their profile in They have added me to their Likes.
- If you both say Yes, we’ll highlight the Mutual like in Messages and your Likes list. Sometimes you just have to trust your luck!

Why aren't you showing me the right singles?

I'm not seeing singles matching my search criteria.

When you search on Even we'll show you two types of results:

Singles who meet your search criteria
Singles who are interested in your profile (even if they do not match your criteria)
So, if you don't see these singles, it can have several reasons :

1. Your search is too precise : There may not be enough people who meet all your criteria for us to show you enough results.
➔ In this case, we will offer you profiles that match some of your criteria, but not always all of them.
2. The singles suggested are attracted by your profile : or they have selected criteria which include you.
➔ Check out the suggestions in the Discover and Search menus, on all mobile devices.

Why am I always seeing the same faces?

If you search from the same location and your search criteria don't change, you will continue to see the same people (as well as anyone who has signed up or moved into your area).

To mix it up a bit, here are a couple of things you can try:

1. Changing your preferences in Search you can filter by all kinds of criteria.
2. Widening your search radius to search a wider area.

How does search work?

Search showcases profiles based
- without subscription, you have filter such as age, distance, online, verified profiles.
- with subscription, you have more advanced filters e.g education, height, custody arrangement, interests...

To change your search criteria:

Click on Search (Android) or 🔍 (iOS) at the top of any Even page.
You can change your search criteria at any time.

If you’d prefer to see a list of profiles we’ve picked out for you, just click Discover at the top of any Even page.

You cannot see any results?
You may have made your search so precise there’s nobody in the area who meets all your requirements.
➔ But don’t worry, try widening your search criteria or radius and you might be surprised by who you find!

Why do I see people who are not parents, on Even?

Accepted Answer

Even has been created especially for you, single parents, in order to improve your dating experience compared to other dating apps.

We talked to lots of single parents to understand them and to create a unique app that matches your specific needs.

One of those needs was to meet singles who were not parents.

So on Even, we are open to single parents but also to single without children who are open to respectfully another single parent.
